Manuel
de Murga’s award-winning compositions have been featured on international concert
programs, receiving performances by soloists and ensembles such as the
Amernet String Quartet, the Core Ensemble, the Florida Orchestra, guitarist
Stephen Robinson, the Welsh Chamber
Orchestra with conductor Anthony Hose, and flautist Nestor Torres with the
Miami String Quartet.

Murga's music has been called “…a display of intelligent and inspired
invention with syncopated rhythms and a very cutting-edge structure…”

Murga's compositions include “upbeat and understated” (Tampa Bay

De Murga studied music at the Eastman School of Music, Boston University, and the University of Miami. He is a pianist and served as music faculty at Stetson University.
